2009 The Husaberg year?
Tom SagarUnder the impulse of the commercial launching of the new FE range, Husaberg decided to deploy the heavy artillery on 2009 WEC. Within the official team, no changes with the 3 riders: the Finn Valterri Salonen, the Swedes Björne Carlsson and Joakim Ljunggren. The novelty comes from the creation of an heteroclite support team. Ex-KTM, the British Tom Sagar will ride in E2, just like the German Mike Hartmann. After a 2008 season marred by the wounds, Czech Vita Kuklik will find a new world challenge with Husaberg.
Lastly, the Junior Oriol Mena could offer to the Swedish team serious chances to win the Junior category, whose he is already the favourite. Let us remind that Husaberg got it twice in 2006 and 2007 with Joakim Ljunggren.
