determined that a potential safety problem exists on your machine.
On eligible units the regulator circuit board may get too hot leading to uncontrolled charging current
output. This can cause discharge of the battery which may result in difficult starting or, in some
circumstances, engine stall while riding creating the potential for an accident.
Accordingly, Kawasaki has initiated a safety recall to repair affected units. The repair consists of
replacing the regulator.
Your Kawasaki dealer will carry out the necessary work at no cost to you. Please contact him to
arrange an appointment for the work to be carried out. The repair will take up to one hour depending
on the model.
